In-Home Supportive Services

Home-Health-CareA creative alternative to assist families in caring for their adults and adolescents diagnosed with intellectual disabilities and/or autism. This program encourages and supports the individual’s involvement in the life of the community; by respecting each individual’s uniqueness, dignity and worth; by understanding the concerns and needs of the individual and by providing individualized skills training assistance and supervision.

Staffing is generally one to one unless group activities are specified in the individual service plan for therapeutic reasons or personal preference. Individuals are assisted in the home and community with domestic, self-help, safety, social, communication skills, etc.
